About This Role

Provide patient care in inpatient and outpatient settings, teach medical students, house officers, and fellows, and establish an independent research program within the Division of Nephrology.

Responsibilities

  • Provide patient care in inpatient settings

  • Teach medical students
  • Teach house officers and fellows
  • Establish an independent research program in the Division of Nephrology

Requirements

  • M.D. degree
  • Board certification or board eligibility in Internal Medicine
  • Board certification or board eligibility in Nephrology
  • Ability to obtain appropriate medical licenses for the State of Michigan
  • Evidence of clinical competence
  • Documentation of scholarly ability and achievement (record of publications in peer-reviewed journals)

Qualifications

  • M.D. degree

Nice to Have

  • Critical elements of teaching (knowledge of subject matter, skill in presentation, enthusiastic approach)

Certifications

Board certification in Internal Medicine (Required) Board certification in Nephrology (Required)
