This role involves directing nursing services and overseeing the nursing department at Higginsville Habilitation Center. The Assistant Director of Nursing will contribute to multidisciplinary teams to support individuals with developmental disabilities.
Responsibilities
- Direct nursing services
- Oversee and review work and documentation for the nursing department
- Maintain clinical and administrative records
- Prepare related reports
- Communicate relevant medical information to internal and external stakeholders
Requirements
- Licensure as a Registered Nurse in the state of Missouri
- 3+ years of experience as a registered nurse
- 2+ years of supervisory experience
- Knowledge of management principles and techniques as applied to nursing administration
- Ability to maintain clinical and administrative records
- Detail-oriented
- Good time management skills
- Leadership skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience as a registered nurse, 2+ years of supervisory experience.
