Asset Protection Investigator

About This Role

The Asset Protection Investigator monitors shortage results and controls, conducts investigations and apprehensions related to internal and external theft, and implements safety programs for a Saks Fifth Avenue location. This role ensures the integrity of physical inventory and trains associates on asset protection procedures.

Responsibilities

• Monitor shortage results and shortage control
• Conduct investigations and apprehensions regarding internal and external theft
• Implement store safety and awareness programs
• Train store associates on awareness and Asset Protection procedures
• Maintain integrity of physical inventory by overseeing reports and audits
• Organize and conduct annual store inventory
• Develop shortage strategies for merchandise groups, paperwork controls, and shortage awareness

Requirements

• 2 years Asset Protection Experience in a large volume retail environment
• Wicklander-Zulawski Certification

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree, or equivalent experience
• 2 years Asset Protection Experience, large volume retail environment
