Asset Protection Investigator

About This Role

The Asset Protection Investigator monitors shortage results and controls, conducts investigations and apprehensions related to theft, and implements safety programs at a Saks Fifth Avenue location.

Responsibilities

• Monitor shortage results and shortage control
• Conduct investigations and apprehensions regarding internal and external theft
• Implement store safety and awareness programs
• Train store associates on awareness and Asset Protection procedures
• Maintain the integrity of physical inventory by overseeing reports and audits on a daily and monthly basis
• Organize and conduct annual store inventory
• Develop shortage strategies for merchandise groups, paperwork controls, and shortage awareness

Requirements

• 2 years Asset Protection Experience
• Experience in a large volume retail environment
• Wicklander-Zulawski Certification
• Certification required where applicable by jurisdiction

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree, or equivalent experience
• 2 years Asset Protection Experience, large volume retail environment
