About This Role

Manage the lifecycle of specific asset groups, such as vehicles or heavy equipment, for Clean Harbors' Service or Facilities operations. This role focuses on asset acquisition, deployment, utilization, maintenance, and disposal to optimize asset performance and minimize costs.

Responsibilities

  • Influence design and oversee implementation of asset preventative maintenance cycles and repair programs
  • Drive continuous improvement of asset performance through failure analysis, PM monitoring, and condition monitoring
  • Assist corporate and regional management with life cycle positioning decisions and strategic placement/logistics
  • Evaluate asset requests and recommend best solutions, considering refurbishment, purchasing, new assets, or leasing
  • Effectively manage asset disposal, including agreements and bookkeeping responsibilities
  • Influence and participate in the preparation of statistical reports related to maintenance, repairs, utilization, depreciation, and financial performance
  • Oversee the purchasing and build process for new assets from start to finish
  • Ensure adherence to goals and KPIs for asset utilization and preventative maintenance schedules
  • Provide expert asset management advice to key Maintenance, Management, and Operations staff
  • Keep abreast of advances and technical developments within the asset categories of responsibility
  • Manage the Asset Management Workbench in the database for assigned asset groups

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Equipment Management, or related field
  • 1-3 years of professional experience
  • Database management, project management, equipment operations, or facility management experience

  • Bachelor's Degree majoring in Engineering, Equipment Management, or related
  • 1-3 years of professional experience
