Armed Vault Supervisor

About This Role

Supervise armed vault operations, ensuring the safety and security of cash, employees, vehicles, and facilities. Manage operational costs, coordinate routes and dispatch functions, and maintain high standards of customer service and training for vault employees.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and coordinate route and dispatch functions
• Control operational costs and ensure profitability of the branch
• Ensure safety of employees, vehicles, and facilities through training and policy enforcement
• Maintain security of cargo and terminal through training and policy enforcement
• Investigate accidents and process required paperwork
• Develop and maintain customer service capabilities among operations staff
• Respond to customer inquiries and complaints
• Coordinate with sales, other branches, departments, district, and corporate staff
• Manage employee overtime hours and vacation schedules
• Conduct training, counseling, discipline, and evaluation of direct reports
• Ensure proper balancing of the vault daily for each shift

Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years of operations experience in a vault, cash, or coin processing environment
• Excellent analytical and math skills
• Solid written, verbal, and interpersonal skills
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite
• Proficient with banking database systems
• Ability to meet State requirements for handgun license/permit or Security Officer Commission
• Ability to perform physical requirements including lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, and repetitive coupling

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of operations experience in a vault, cash, or coin processing environment.

Nice to Have

• Familiarity with computerized timekeeping systems
• Familiarity with cash processing equipment
