Armed Security Officer - Overnight

About This Role

Serve and safeguard clients in a government location as an Armed Security Officer, conducting patrols and maintaining a visible presence to deter security incidents.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service by implementing security procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations calmly and professionally, focusing on problem-solving.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols around the assigned location and its perimeter to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor for unusual activity and report observations according to established protocols.
• Assist visitors, staff, and contractors with directions or information as required by site guidelines.
• Collaborate with law enforcement and emergency personnel during incidents.
• Maintain detailed and accurate records of activities, incidents, and patrols.
• Follow all protocols regarding the handling of firearms and other security equipment.

Requirements

• At least 21 years of age
• Valid driver's license
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent
• Subject to a background investigation
• Subject to a drug screen
