About This Role

The Area Sales Manager will drive business development and customer service by growing and developing temporary staffing services sales and margins within an assigned geographic territory.

Responsibilities

  • Present and sell temporary staffing services to current and potential clients
  • Prepare action plans and schedules to identify specific targets and to project the number of contacts to be made
  • Prepare a variety of status reports, including activity, closings, follow-up, and adherence to goals
  • Communicate service opportunities, special developments, information, or feedback gathered through field activity to appropriate company staff
  • Follow up on leads
  • Identify sales prospects and contact these and other accounts
  • Prepare presentations, proposals and sales contracts
  • Establish and maintain current client and potential client relationships

Requirements

  • Fully understand and able to communicate our services
  • 2 years' experience in outside sales
  • Well-developed interpersonal skills
  • Ability to get along well with diverse personalities; tactful, mature, and flexible
  • Ability to operate independently and self-manage projects
  • Ability to perform several tasks concurrently with ease and professionalism

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred or equivalent
  • 2 years' experience in outside sales and two years of management and direct sales experience
