ALIP (Accenture Life Insurance Platform) Tester

About This Role

Ensure the quality, reliability, and compliance of Accenture Life Insurance Platform (ALIP) solutions through comprehensive manual and automated testing. This role requires strong insurance domain expertise and ALIP product knowledge, collaborating with cross-functional teams to validate functionality and regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities

• Design and execute test plans, test cases, and test scenarios for ALIP applications
• Perform functional, regression, integration, system, and UAT testing
• Ensure data accuracy across policy, billing, claims, commissions, and underwriting workflows
• Develop, maintain, and execute automated test scripts using tools such as Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, or equivalent
• Integrate automation with CI/CD pipelines
• Focus on regression automation and API testing (REST/SOAP)
• Validate ALIP-specific components such as product setup, policy lifecycle events, endorsements, renewals, and migrations
• Validate data flows between ALIP and upstream/downstream systems (CRM, billing, claims, data warehouses)
• Perform SQL-based data validation and batch/job monitoring
• Log, track, and manage defects using tools like JIRA

Requirements

• Strong hands-on understanding of ALIP architecture, configuration, rules, calculations, batch jobs, and integrations
• Deep knowledge of life and annuity insurance concepts including new business, underwriting, policy administration, billing, claims, reinsurance, and regulatory compliance
• Ability to translate business requirements into effective test coverage
