Advanced Practice Provider, Section of Hematology and Medical Oncology

About This Role

This Advanced Practice Provider will support the rapidly expanding Amyloidosis Center at Boston University Chobanian and Avedisian School of Medicine and Boston Medical Center, coordinating care for patients with amyloidosis and rare protein misfolding diseases.

Responsibilities

• Assist with coordination of patient care in the ambulatory multidisciplinary clinic in a shared practice model
• Perform record review
• Conduct medication reconciliation
• Manage patient intake processes
• Handle post-evaluation patient contact
• Coordinate various aspects of patient care
• Participate in multidisciplinary clinical, research and teaching conferences
• Mentor NP and PA students from area programs

Requirements

• NP or PA certification
• Minimum of 2 years of practice experience
