Manage the overall operations of an affordable housing residential community, ensuring quality services within budgetary boundaries and maintaining compliance with all regulatory requirements.
Responsibilities
- Oversee the overall operations of the community
- Maintain compliance with all requirements of HUD, state Housing Finance Agency, and state and local government agencies
- Perform full cycle management of team members including instructing, assigning and reviewing work, performance management, recruiting, and other personnel functions
- Build positive relationships with current and potential residents, team members, and government agencies
- Monitor the financial condition of the community; estimate present and future financial needs; monitor, prepare, and administer financial analysis, budgets, and cash management
- Ensure readiness for REAC & MOR inspections
Requirements
- 2+ years of experience as a manager for affordable housing community or equivalent
- 2+ years of experience leading & supervising a team
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree preferred with a major in a discipline concerned with service to people such as social work, business or public administration or a related field
- 2+ years of experience as a manager for an affordable housing community or equivalent combination of training and experience, and 2+ years of experience leading & supervising a team
Nice to Have
- Certificate of Occupancy Specialist (or willingness to obtain shortly after hire)
- HUD/Tax experience
