Adjunct Radiological Tech (X-Ray)

About This Role

Serve as an Adjunct Radiological Technologist (X-Ray) specializing in teaching and curriculum development for college-wide academic programs. This role involves preparing course outlines, assessing student performance, and collaborating on program reviews.

Responsibilities

• Teach and develop curriculum for radiological technology programs
• Prepare and provide students with course outlines supporting learning objectives
• Develop and measure learning outcomes
• Assess student performance and maintain grade records
• Create an effective learning environment using diverse instructional methods
• Collaborate on the development and continued assessment of learning outcomes for program reviews and curriculum revision
• Participate in professional development activities to maintain currency in discipline knowledge and instructional methods
• Participate in department/discipline, division, campus, and college meetings and committees
• Support the college's goals

Requirements

• Certified in Radiography and in good standing with the AART
• Two years clinical supervision of student radiographers or teaching experience in an approved and accredited Radiography Program recognized by a RAA or the JRCERT
• Personal transportation and willingness to travel to and from clinical affiliates as assigned
• BA or BS degree in any discipline
• Strong communication skills
• Post-secondary teaching experiences
• Work experiences in the discipline to be taught
• Knowledge of industry-related software and systems, including industry certifications where appropriate

Qualifications

• BA or BS degree in any discipline
• 2+ years clinical supervision of student radiographers or teaching experience in an approved and accredited Radiography Program

Certifications
