Teach and develop curriculum for Heating/Air Conditioning courses, focusing on student learning and an effective instructional environment. This role contributes to program development and continuous professional growth in the discipline and pedagogy.

Responsibilities

• Teach and develop curriculum for Heating/Air Conditioning courses
• Prepare and provide students with course outlines that support learning objectives
• Develop and measure learning outcomes
• Assess student performance and maintain grade records
• Create an effective learning environment using diverse instructional methods
• Collaborate in the development and continued assessment of learning outcomes for program reviews and curriculum revision
• Work with faculty to complete scheduled program reviews and use findings to revise curriculum
• Participate in appropriate professional development activities to maintain currency in discipline knowledge and instructional methods
• Participate in department/discipline, division, campus, and college meetings and committees
• Collaborate in the development of program and/or discipline promotional materials

Requirements

• 5 years experience
• EPA Refrigerant Usage Certification
• Strong communication skills
• Post-secondary teaching experiences
• Work experiences in the discipline to be taught
• Knowledge of industry-related software and systems, including industry certifications, where appropriate
• Degrees from an accredited institution

• 5 years experience
