Adjunct Faculty, English

About This Role

This Adjunct Faculty member will teach English courses, evaluate student progress, and participate in departmental and college affairs at the Kendall Campus. Courses may be taught in various modalities including in-person, live virtual, online, and blended classes.

Responsibilities

• Teach lecture and laboratory sections
• Evaluate and advise students
• Participate in departmental and College affairs
• Develop curricula
• Recruit students
• Serve on committees

Requirements

• Master's degree in English from a regionally accredited institution OR Master's degree from a regionally accredited institution and 18 graduate credit hours in English
• Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
• Ability to work well with students and colleagues in a multi-ethnic/multi-cultural environment
• Ability to work a flexible schedule that may include evenings and weekend assignments
