About This Role

Antelope Valley College is seeking an Adjunct Art History Instructor to teach art history courses during the day, evening, and/or off-campus sites. This temporary, part-time role supports student success within a diverse community college environment.

Responsibilities

  • Instruct students in the assigned discipline (Art History)
  • Teach courses during the day, evening, and/or off-campus sites

Requirements

  • Master's degree in art history, history of art and architecture or visual culture/visual studies
  • OR Bachelor's in art history and master's in history
  • OR Master's in art with a recorded emphasis or concentration in art history OR the equivalent
  • Sensitivity to and understanding of the diverse academic, socioeconomic, cultural, disability, and ethnic backgrounds of community college students

Qualifications
