Assist the Salus Lifestyle Coach in providing diversified individual and group activities for residents to promote their potential and sense of usefulness. This role involves planning, coordinating, and leading programs for seniors in a community setting.
Responsibilities
- Provide outstanding service to all Residents, family members, responsible persons, and visitors of Residents
- Facilitate socialization among Residents
- Invite and/or remind Residents to participate in planned activities
- Work with other Program Associates to coordinate joint programs
- Conduct/lead majority of programs
- Plan, coordinate, and help implement decorations for special events, seasons, and holidays
- Coordinate family functions and events
- Plan weekly excursions
- Assist with transportation for activity outings and regularly scheduled group trips
- Drive the company vehicle for Resident activities and appointments when needed, if certified and approved
Requirements
- Experienced in activity planning, preferably with seniors
- Experienced and interested in working with seniors
- Possesses creative activity skills
- Demonstrates organizational skills
- Mature, pleasant, friendly, and cheerful personality
- State driver license required with clean driving record
