Accounting Coordinator

About This Role

The Accounting Coordinator is responsible for completing cash reports, reconciliations, and invoicing. This role will also review data entry accuracy and assist in researching variances in financial statements.

Responsibilities

• Ensure all paperwork from retail and auxiliary locations follows audit requirements and follow-up as needed with SR Accounting Coord and Management
• Responsible for Food & Nutrition Month-End Close, processing journal entries, productivity stats, cash/credit reconciliation, and invoice accruals
• Work with the SR Accounting Coord to create reporting using Excel and Axiom for analysis and research, such as Cost/Benefit Analysis and Revenue/Expense Trend Analysis
• Review Budget Variance Reports for accuracy and explain variances monthly
• Review statements, vendor resolutions, and cash reports from the cash room for accuracy
• Record cashier performance for management
• Complete cash/credit/badge reconciliation

Requirements

• Associate's Degree in Accounting/Finance/related OR High School Diploma or GED

Qualifications

• Associate's Degree in Accounting/Finance/related or High School Diploma or GED
• No experience required, but experience in Accounting/Finance and using Excel preferred
