Join a dynamic Accounting and Finance team as an experienced Accountant, responsible for monthly close processes, financial reporting, and system improvements. This role offers an exceptional opportunity for a motivated and detail-oriented individual to leverage their skills in a challenging environment.
Responsibilities
- Perform monthly close procedures, including account reconciliations, journal entries, and variance analysis
- Manage financial data in Sage Intacct and ERP systems, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with accounting standards
- Develop and maintain advanced Excel spreadsheets for data analysis and financial modeling
- Collaborate with other departments to streamline accounting procedures and improve financial reporting
- Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
- Conduct regular ledger maintenance and account reconciliation
- Participate in internal and external audits, providing necessary information and answering auditors' inquiries
- Stay abreast of industry trends and regulations to ensure compliance across all financial functions
- Provide support in budget preparation and financial planning processes
- Act as a key point of contact for accounting and financial inquiries, providing clear and concise information to stakeholders
Requirements
- Must have food & beverage, retail, or hospitality experience
- Proficiency in Sage Intacct, ERP systems, and advanced Excel
- Strong understanding of accounting principles, financial reporting, and regulatory standards
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in an accounting role
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in an accounting role, preferably within the Accounting and Finance industry. 5+ years of relevant experience in the Accounting and Finance industry.
Nice to Have
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or Certified Management Accountant (CMA) designation
