Account Manager Small Business

About This Role

Join the Small Business Sales team as an Account Manager, responsible for acquiring new small business customers and guiding them through the onboarding process for technological solutions.

Responsibilities

• Identify and engage small business leads through outbound efforts, networking, and digital channels
• Understand client needs, present tailored solutions, and close deals that deliver value
• Guide new clients through onboarding and hand off to the Customer Success team for ongoing support
• Partner with internal teams to ensure seamless transitions and client satisfaction
• Maintain accurate records of pipeline activity, conversion metrics, and handoff timelines

Requirements

• 2+ years in B2B sales or business development
• Proven success in new customer acquisition
• Strong communication and negotiation skills
• Familiarity with small business operations and challenges
• Experience with CRM tools and sales automation platforms
• Ability to work cross-functionally with onboarding and success teams in addition to external OEM partners

Qualifications

• 2+ years in B2B sales or business development, preferably in the small business segment
