Manage daily security operations for clients, ensuring safety and well-being. Lead and develop a team of security officers and supervisors to provide exceptional service and maintain strong client relationships.
Responsibilities
- Manage scheduling of security officers using AI-powered technology, meeting contract hours and minimizing unbilled overtime
- Hire, coach, and manage security officers and supervisors, overseeing payroll, performance, and employee relations
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, ensuring high-quality service and protecting people and property
- Handle escalated security incidents and emergencies, coordinating with clients and internal teams
- Oversee training, safety, and site operational standards for compliance and excellence
- Manage inventory of uniforms, equipment, and other essential supplies
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid driver's license (if driving for business)
- Minimum of two (2) years of experience in business operations, security management, or supervising teams
- Experience in leading, developing, and retaining a dynamic team while building positive client relationships
- Knowledge of emergency preparedness, physical security protocols, risk assessments, and law enforcement coordination
- Proven ability to evaluate situations, make sound independent decisions, and resolve conflicts efficiently
- Proficiency in web-based applications and computer systems, including Microsoft Office
- Ability to communicate effectively with clients and employees
- Ability to manage multiple projects and drive operational excellence
- Financial acumen to manage staffing levels, non-billed overtime, turnover costs, and inventory costs
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of two (2) years of experience in business operations, security management, or supervising teams in a fast-paced environment
Nice to Have
- College degree in Business Administration or a law enforcement-related field
- Law enforcement, military, contract/proprietary security services, or facility management experience
- American Society of Industrial Security (ASIS) Certified Protection Professional (CPP) certification
- Previous payroll, billing, or scheduling experience
- Aptitude with security systems (CCTV, access control, badge administration)
- Graduate of certified public safety academy (e.g., Law Enforcement, Firefighter/Paramedic, Corrections Officer)
