Account Manager, Healthcare

About This Role

Serve as a Healthcare Account Manager, developing relationships and driving profitable revenue growth within assigned accounts in the Seattle/Tacoma area. Partner with internal teams to maximize sales and ensure customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

• Understand customer goals and adapt to changing needs
• Demonstrate market data knowledge and access resources for quick responses to customer business developments
• Support managed inventory tasks to increase customer understanding, contacts, and sales results
• Explain Grainger's Value Proposition to customers and provide solutions for profitable sales growth
• Establish customer and market priorities to execute strategic action for sales goals
• Develop and implement account strategies including regular business reviews for maximizing sales
• Ensure full compliance with company sales and pricing guidelines
• Utilize all available resources and technical support
• Document, analyze, and understand the impact of customer-focused activities to increase productivity and sales

Requirements

• High School Diploma/GED
• 3+ years direct outside sales experience
• Knowledge of sales forecasting opportunity management and customer planning
• Technological capabilities for today's business environment
• Ability to close actions, projects, resolutions or sales with customers
• Ability to articulate business drivers, understand financial and total cost of ownership concepts
• Ability to use sales process to uncover customer objections/concerns and determine solutions
• Process discipline and ability to align planning goals with pipeline development

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED - Associates or Bachelor’s Degree preferred
• 3+ years direct outside sales experience
