The Account Manager is a leadership position responsible for overseeing daily security operations, managing security teams, and ensuring client satisfaction. This role involves leading, developing, and motivating security officers while maintaining high service quality.
Responsibilities
- Manage scheduling for security officers using AI-powered technology to meet client contract hours and minimize unbilled overtime.
- Lead, coach, and manage security officers and supervisors, overseeing payroll, performance, and employee relations.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, ensuring high-quality service and protecting people and property.
- Respond to escalated security incidents and emergencies professionally, coordinating with clients and internal teams.
- Oversee training, safety, site operational standards, and manage inventory of uniforms, equipment, and supplies.
Requirements
- 2+ years in business operations, security management, or team supervision
- Experience leading, developing, and retaining teams and building client relationships
- Knowledge of emergency preparedness, physical security protocols, risk assessments, and law enforcement coordination
- Ability to evaluate situations, make sound independent decisions, and resolve conflicts
- Proficiency in web-based applications and Microsoft Office
- Effective communication skills with clients and employees
- Financial acumen to manage staffing, minimize overtime, and control inventory costs
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of two (2) years of experience in business operations, security management, or supervising teams in a fast-paced environment. Experience in leading, developing, and retaining a dynamic team while building positive client relationships.
Nice to Have
- College degree in Business Administration or a law enforcement-related field
- Law enforcement, military, contract security, or facility management experience
- American Society of Industrial Security (ASIS), International Certified Protection Professional (CPP) certification
- Previous payroll, billing, or scheduling experience
- Aptitude with security systems (CCTV, access control, badge administration)
- Graduate of certified public safety academy (e.g., Law Enforcement, Firefighter/Paramedic, Corrections Officer)
