This Account Development Executive will drive growth by building relationships with local businesses, pitching an innovative delivery program, and guiding them through the onboarding process. The role focuses on field-based sales to expand a last-mile logistics solution.
Responsibilities
- Visit prospective businesses in targeted towns (up to 2 hours driving distance)
- Pitch a new delivery program to local business owners
- Qualify businesses and guide them through the application and vetting process
- Track leads and manage pipeline using Salesforce
- Collaborate with Field Manager to plan and host community recruitment events
- Build relationships with local influencers like chambers of commerce and economic development groups
- Keep data organized by importing spreadsheets into Salesforce weekly
Requirements
- 1-2 years of experience in sales or customer service
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills
- Tech-savvy and comfortable working with multiple systems
- Professional, enthusiastic, and highly organized with a sense of urgency
- Ability to travel up to 4 hours round trip daily
Qualifications
- 1-2 years of experience in sales or customer service
