This Yard Laborer role involves performing a variety of tasks as assigned by supervisors, including customer service, loading, stocking inventory, and operating equipment. The position is full-time seasonal with opportunities for overtime through October 2025.
Responsibilities
- Perform various tasks and duties assigned by the supervisor
- Provide customer service
- Load customers
- Stock inventory
- Operate Forklift and Loader
- Follow policies and procedures for job execution
- Maintain attendance according to company policy
- Operate equipment and transport material physically
- Maintain courteous and professional manner with co-workers, customers, and the public
- Adhere to OSHA/MSHA safety standards
- Be flexible with last minute schedule, location, and shift changes
Requirements
- Ability to lift up to 50lbs. (100 lbs. team or assisted lift)
- Physical ability to operate equipment and transport material
- Ability to stand for duration of an 8-12 hour shift
- Ability to adhere to personal protective equipment (PPE) policy
- Pass drug test
- Pass background check
- Pass Functional Capacity Exam
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred, but not required
- Entry-level position
