Coach and develop high school girl wrestlers, focusing on fundamental skills, fair play, and confidence for interscholastic competition. Manage equipment, attend clinics, and adhere to county financial policies.
Responsibilities
- Prepare players physically and mentally for interscholastic competition
- Teach fundamental skills and rules of wrestling to high school girls
- Supervise the cleaning, storage, and proper care of all equipment
- Foster good school-community relations regarding the athletic program
- Prepare daily practice schedules and conduct practice sessions
- Attend VHSL clinics
- Follow county financial policies concerning the collection and receipt of funds
Requirements
- Previous experience as a coach or player in wrestling
- Demonstrated ability to manage and support the needs of high school student athletes
Qualifications
- Previous experience as a coach or player in wrestling.
