Assistant Baseball Coach

About This Role

The Assistant Baseball Coach will foster principles of fair play and develop self-confidence in players through interscholastic competition. This role involves preparing athletes physically and mentally for games and cultivating strong school-community relations.

Responsibilities

• Help to organize the overall baseball program
• Prepare players both physically and mentally for interscholastic competition
• Teach fundamental baseball skills and rules
• Foster good school-community relations regarding the athletic program
• Help to prepare daily practice schedules and conduct practice sessions
• Follow county financial policies concerning the collection and receipting of funds

Requirements

• Demonstrated ability to manage the entire baseball program through previous coaching or playing experience

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a coach or player is required to manage the entire baseball program.
