The Assistant Baseball Coach will foster principles of fair play and develop self-confidence in players through interscholastic competition. This role involves preparing athletes physically and mentally for games and cultivating strong school-community relations.
Responsibilities
- Help to organize the overall baseball program
- Prepare players both physically and mentally for interscholastic competition
- Teach fundamental baseball skills and rules
- Foster good school-community relations regarding the athletic program
- Help to prepare daily practice schedules and conduct practice sessions
- Follow county financial policies concerning the collection and receipting of funds
Requirements
- Demonstrated ability to manage the entire baseball program through previous coaching or playing experience
Qualifications
- Previous experience as a coach or player is required to manage the entire baseball program.
