The Workday Talent & Performance Specialist will act as the primary expert for Workday Talent & Performance modules, providing strategic guidance, designing, configuring, and rolling out projects. This role involves partnering with People and IT teams to deliver scalable solutions and optimize processes within HRIS platforms.
Responsibilities
- Lead configuration and maintenance of Workday Talent & Performance module, including performance reviews, calibration processes, and employee review templates.
- Partner closely with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into scalable Workday solutions.
- Own and manage reporting, calculated fields, and security configurations for all Talent & Performance related requests.
- Own documentation and knowledge sharing, including SOPs, configuration guides, and process maps.
- Stay informed on new Workday releases and people technology trends, identifying opportunities for enhancement and automation.
- Explore and contribute to other internal tools and technologies beyond Workday to expand technical footprint.
Requirements
- 4-6 years of hands-on Workday experience, with at least 2-3 years focused on Workday Talent & Performance
- Proven experience delivering end-to-end performance review cycles
- Strong experience configuring and supporting calibration sessions
- Strong proficiency in Advanced Reporting and Calculated Fields
- Solid understanding of HCM fundamentals
- Working knowledge of Workday Security
- Proven analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in HR, IT, Business Systems, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience
- 4-6 years of hands-on Workday experience, with at least 2-3 years focused on Workday Talent & Performance
Nice to Have
- Experience implementing or optimizing continuous performance management, check-ins, or development planning
- Experience supporting multi-country or regionally varied performance frameworks
- Familiarity with testing frameworks, release management, or regression testing
- Experience working in an international or fast-paced environment
- Interest in expanding knowledge beyond Workday into other people technology platforms and tools
