About This Role

As a Workday HCM Specialist, you will be the primary expert ensuring seamless operation, scaling, and enhancement of core HCM processes at Agoda. You will collaborate with People and IT teams to deliver scalable solutions and optimize existing processes within Workday and other HRIS platforms.

Responsibilities

  • Lead, configure, maintain, and support Workday HCM setup, including core configuration, organization structures, and business process frameworks.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into scalable Workday solutions.
  • Own and manage reporting, calculated fields, and security configurations to provide accurate insights.
  • Own documentation and knowledge sharing, including SOPs, configuration guides, and process maps.
  • Work across other Workday domains and internal tools, expanding expertise based on project needs.
  • Stay informed on new Workday releases and people technology trends, identifying enhancement opportunities.
  • Contribute to other internal tools and technologies beyond Workday.

Requirements

  • 4-6 years of hands-on Workday experience, with at least 2-3 years focused on HCM configuration and reporting.
  • Solid understanding of HCM fundamentals, business processes, and configuration concepts.
  • Strong proficiency in Advanced Reporting and Calculated Fields.
  • Working knowledge of Workday Security.
  • Proven analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in HR, IT, Business Systems, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 4-6 years of hands-on Workday experience, with at least 2-3 years focused on HCM configuration and reporting.

Nice to Have

  • Experience supporting additional Workday modules (e.g., Payroll, Time Tracking, Absence, Talent)
  • Knowledge of Workday integrations (EIBs, Core Connectors, Studio)
  • Familiarity with HCM rollouts, testing frameworks, release management, or regression testing
  • Experience working in an international or fast-paced environment
  • Interest in expanding knowledge beyond Workday into other people technology platforms and tools.
