About This Role

The People Technology Manager (Integrations) at Agoda drives projects and implements scalable solutions to optimize business processes for People operations. This role leads critical integrations and automations for HR, Payroll, and Technology, impacting every employee's experience.

Responsibilities

  • Lead a team of SMEs to drive People Technology integration projects.
  • Own and lead Agoda’s payroll integration roadmap, shaping how core HR and payroll systems work together across countries and products.
  • Strategize Agoda’s Workday integration roadmap by scaling solutions, driving continuous improvements, and assessing platform readiness.
  • Lead integration design strategy using Workday and other tools, integrating with platforms such as Zendesk, Greenhouse, Oracle, and other components of the Agoda tech stack.
  • Optimize existing automated solutions to improve efficiency and create leaner processes.
  • Partner closely with key business stakeholders (Payroll, FinSys, People Technology, BI Dev) to assess technology needs and feasibility, align priorities, manage timelines, and drive end-to-end delivery from design through testing and deployment.
  • Implement, test, and launch major system enhancements, ensuring quality, stability, and a smooth change experience for end users.
  • Collaborate with solutions and engineering teams to design and implement custom applications and tools that extend Workday and the broader People Tech ecosystem.
  • Mentor and coach junior team members, sharing best practices and elevating the overall technical capabilities of the team.

Requirements

  • Minimum 8 years of hands-on Workday Integrations experience
  • Experience managing and leading a team
  • Proven track record leading technical implementations for payroll integration rollouts, specifically using PECI
  • Strong expertise with Workday integration and reporting tools, including Workday Studio, EIB, Core Connectors, PECI, BIRT, RaaS, and REST/SOAP API-based integrations
  • Solid knowledge of Workday Core HCM and other key functional/technical areas, such as Business Processes, Security, and system configuration
  • Deep understanding of integration design patterns, error handling, and Workday data models
  • Comfortable working in ambiguous environments, proactively identifying and resolving edge cases, dependencies, and potential risks
  • Strong team player with a high sense of ownership, bringing subject-matter expertise while collaborating to solve complex issues
  • Demonstrated ability to drive continuous improvements to simplify processes, increase scalability, and reduce operational complexity
  • Strong project and stakeholder management skills, with experience engaging cross-functional teams
  • Ability to leverage data and analytics to generate insights and support effective decision-making
  • Fluency in English, both written and spoken

Qualifications

  • Minimum 8 years of hands-on Workday Integrations experience.

Nice to Have

  • Experience in automation tools and programming languages outside of Workday space (MS Power Apps, SQL, HTML)
  • Ability to constructively challenge and refine requests while maintaining respectful, professional relationships
  • Presentation/Workshop facilitation
  • Able to move fast, adapt to changes
