Workday HCM Functional Senior Consultant

About This Role

This role involves leading Workday functional workstreams for implementation and optimization projects, gathering business requirements, and facilitating workshops to achieve client consensus on HR processes and design. As a Workday HCM Functional Senior Consultant, you will leverage your expertise to solve pressing HR issues for clients.

Responsibilities

• Lead Workday Functional Workstreams for Workday implementation and optimization projects of Workday HCM modules (Core HR, Talent, Compensation, or other relevant specializations).
• Gather business requirements while educating clients on Workday functionality as it relates to HR activities.
• Facilitate workshops, demos and meetings to build consensus around business processes and design.
• Manage workstream activities, including configuration and overseeing activities of on and offshore resources.
• Serve as mentor to junior staff.

Requirements

• 4+ years of experience leading workstreams as part of Workday implementations with knowledge in 2 or more areas of the HCM product, including configuration of the system
• 4+ years demonstrating exceptional written and verbal communication skills
• 4+ years of exceptional problem-solving capabilities

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent years of relevant experience
• Minimum of 4+ years of experience leading workstreams as part of Workday implementations with knowledge in 2 or more areas of the HCM product, including configuration of the system.

Nice to Have

• 4+ years of Experience working in consulting solutions for Fortune 500 or equivalent clients
• 2+ years of experience mentoring and developing junior staff
• 2+ years of experience with advanced Excel modeling and developing executive-level PowerPoint presentations
• Experience using Microsoft Visio to develop process flows or technical diagrams
