Workday AMS Payroll Senior Consultant

About This Role

Lead Workday Optimization projects for clients, focusing on Workday HCM Payroll configurations, integrations, and deployments. Serve as a Subject Matter Expert for post-production engagements, guiding clients on Workday capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead Optimization projects to help clients realize the full potential of Workday
• Lead workstreams for Phase X (single module) deployments in Workday HCM space (primarily in Payroll)
• Lead Workday projects in the space of additional country roll outs and M&A
• Conduct health checks for clients already live on Workday to define optimization roadmaps
• Serve as Subject Matter Expert for other Workday post-production engagements
• Lead AMS engagements by providing services in your module of expertise
• Guide, communicate and educate clients on Workday capabilities and limitations including new release management
• Provide solutions on the fly and demonstrate strategic thinking

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree
• 4+ years of experience in Workday Payroll configurations and/or integrations
• 4+ years of experience supporting/using Workday as an HCM system with a primary focus on the Payroll module
• 4+ years of experience serving as a workstream lead on HCM Payroll implementations or optimization engagements

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree, preferably in Human Resources, Human Resources Information Management or other Human Resources related degrees
• At least 4 years of experience working in Workday Payroll configurations and/or integrations; at least 4 years of experience supporting/using Workday with a primary focus on the Payroll module; at least 4 years of experience serving as a workstream lead on HCM Payroll implementations or optimization engagements.

Nice to Have

• Active Workday Payroll Certification(s)
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Visio and PowerPoint
• 2+ years' experience creating advanced Excel models (e.g., pivot tables, VLOOKUP, data analysis)
