As a Workday AMS Payroll Senior Consultant, you will lead optimization projects for clients, focusing on Workday Payroll configurations, integrations, and deployments. You will serve as a Subject Matter Expert for post-production engagements, guiding clients on Workday capabilities and new release management.
Responsibilities
- Lead optimization projects to help clients realize the full potential of Workday
- Lead workstreams for single module deployments in Workday HCM space, primarily in Payroll
- Lead Workday projects for additional country rollouts and M&A
- Conduct health checks for clients already live on Workday to define optimization roadmaps
- Serve as Subject Matter Expert for Workday post-production engagements
- Lead AMS engagements, providing services in your module of expertise
- Guide, communicate, and educate clients on Workday capabilities and limitations, including new release management
- Provide solutions and demonstrate strategic thinking
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree, preferably in Human Resources, Human Resources Information Management or other Human Resources related degrees
- At least 4 years of experience working in Workday Payroll configurations and/or integrations
- At least 4 years of experience supporting/using Workday as an HCM system with a primary focus on the Payroll module
- At least 4 years of experience serving as a workstream lead on HCM Payroll implementations or optimization engagements
- Ability to travel 10% - 50% on average
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree, preferably in Human Resources, Human Resources Information Management or other Human Resources related degrees
- At least 4 years of experience working in Workday Payroll configurations and/or integrations, supporting/using Workday as an HCM system with a primary focus on the Payroll module, and serving as a workstream lead on HCM Payroll implementations or optimization engagements from design to deployment.
Nice to Have
- Active Workday Payroll Certification(s)
- Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Visio and PowerPoint
- At least 2 years' experience creating advanced Excel models (e.g., pivot tables, VLOOKUP, data analysis)
