This role supports a private wealth management practice by managing daily investment operations, enhancing client experience, and assisting advisors with comprehensive financial planning and investment solutions. The associate will be crucial in ensuring exceptional service to clients, helping them feel confident in their financial futures.
Responsibilities
- Serve as a primary point of contact for clients, handling inquiries and follow-up with urgency and professionalism
- Assist with meeting preparation including reviewing financial profiles and building plan updates under Advisor guidance
- Participate in client meetings, present select materials, and document action items with accuracy
- Open and maintain accounts; process trades, transfers and wire/ACH requests
- Monitor alerts, funding, advisory activities, and document compliance needs
- Support proposal revisions, performance reviews, and operational workflows
- Assist with life, disability, and long-term care insurance application processing, policy changes, and underwriting requirements
- Escalate issues appropriately to ensure timely resolution
- Identify and propose workflow efficiencies to continuously improve client and team experience
- Maintain clean, organized, and compliant client records
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree
- 3-5 years of investment brokerage operations experience
- FINRA Series 7 & 66 (or Series 7 + 63 & 65 equivalent) within 6 months of hire if not already licensed
- WA state life & health insurance license (or willingness to obtain within 6 months)
- Strong client written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to juggle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Proficient with MS Office and CRM technology
- Compliance-focused mindset
- Strong attention to detail

- 3-5 years of investment brokerage operations experience
