As a financial advisor at Northwestern Mutual, you will help clients achieve their financial goals through comprehensive planning, building and managing personalized financial plans. This role offers the opportunity to grow a client base, establish a strong referral network, and provide an excellent client experience.
Responsibilities
- Grow your client base by making new connections and maintaining strong referral networks
- Provide a great client experience
- Build personalized, holistic financial plans tailored to every client's unique needs
- Manage client financial plans to help them achieve their goals
- Grow relationships with clients to support them through every stage of life
- Obtain Life/Accident & Health Certifications, Securities Industry Essentials (SIE), Series 6, 7, and 63 licenses
- Educate clients and deliver holistic financial plans using proprietary software
- Participate in award-winning training programs for continued development
- Utilize planning software for investments, insurance, and annuities
- Shape your workday, open an office, join a sophisticated team, or become an advanced advisor
Requirements
- Legal authorization to work in the US without sponsorship
- Entrepreneurial ambitions
- History of success in relationship-building or client-facing roles
- Excellent time-management skills
- Desire for continuous learning and collaboration
- Proficient critical thinking skills
- Strong communication skills
- Strong sense of motivation and drive
