Join a leading Caribbean and Hispanic food distributor as a Warehouse Selector, responsible for accurately selecting and preparing customer orders for shipment in a fast-paced environment. This role contributes to maintaining an organized and safe warehouse.
Responsibilities
- Select products from the warehouse according to customer orders, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Pick and stage product orders using pick sheets.
- Prepare selected items for repack by packing them securely and labeling them correctly.
- Operate pallet jacks or other warehouse equipment (training provided if needed).
- Load and unload trucks as needed.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment by performing routine cleaning tasks (sweeping, removing trash, organizing pallets, etc.).
- Comply with company safety standards and procedures.
- Work collaboratively with team members and supervisors to meet daily production goals.
- Stay until the work is fully completed, as shifts end when the work is done.
