The Area Sales Coordinator will facilitate sales activities and drive revenue growth in the Massachusetts region for a food and beverage distribution company. This role involves developing sales strategies, supporting the sales team, and managing customer relations.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with the regional sales team to develop and execute effective sales strategies to achieve revenue targets
- Coordinate and schedule sales appointments, meetings, and presentations for the sales representatives
- Provide administrative support to the sales team, including preparing sales materials, proposals, and contracts
- Serve as the primary point of contact for customer inquiries and resolving any issues or concerns promptly
- Conduct market research and gather intelligence on competitors and industry trends within the assigned area
- Manage and update customer databases and systems to ensure accurate and up-to-date information
- Assist with the preparation of sales forecasts, budgets, and reports for management review
- Monitor sales performance metrics and providing regular reports and analysis to identify areas for improvement
