Warehouse Material Handler I

About This Role

The Material Handler I will perform various warehouse functions including loading, picking, packing, shipping, receiving, and forklift operation, ensuring accurate handling and distribution of products. This role supports distribution across the US within a safe supply chain environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform warehouse functions including loading, picking, packing, shipping, receiving, forklift operation, and cycle counting.
• Perform duties within performance measurement guidelines of the contract.
• Accurately pick and pack, audit, induct totes, stage products, and load/unload trucks.
• Deal with day-to-day warehouse paperwork such as picking sheets, returns, and bills of lading.
• Provide technical and maintenance support for automated packing systems during core production hours.

• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as a team member
• Ability to lift and/or push/pull up to 35 lbs
• Ability to stand for long periods of time
• Ability to work using health and safety methods
• Must be available to work on a flexible schedule on various work shifts
• Detail oriented with excellent follow-up practices

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• One (1) year or more related warehouse and/or powered industrial truck experience preferred
