Warehouse Coordinator

About This Role

This role involves performing administrative tasks and coordinating warehouse operations. The Warehouse Coordinator will interact with customers and contractors, process returns, manage pallets, and update metrics within the Warehouse Management System.

Responsibilities

• Perform administrative tasks for area or shift
• Maintain filing systems and documents per Standard Operating Procedure (SOP)
• Interact with customers and contractors, answering questions regarding shipment times, product cuts, loads, and damage claims
• Coordinate processing of export orders, filling out paperwork, generating labels, and maintaining documentation
• Process returns in Warehouse Management System (WMS) and maintain paperwork
• Order CHEP and white wood pallets for the site, conduct reconciliation of pallet count, research large pallet system variances
• Update area or shift metrics as needed using the WMS system

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Ability to make quick, reliable decisions that represent both the customer and Ryder
• Strong written, organizational, and verbal communication skills
• Intermediate knowledge of MS Office products (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint)

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Experience as a clerk in a warehouse/distribution environment performing duties such as transportation coordination, inventory, shipping/receiving, coordinating with various carriers, vendor and customers is preferred.

Nice to Have

• Experience as a clerk in a warehouse/distribution environment
• Knowledge of WMS systems
• Experience operating forklift equipment
