Warehouse Clerk

About This Role

The Warehouse Clerk safely handles products, loads trailers, and ensures accurate documentation, contributing to efficient warehouse operations for White Castle.

Responsibilities

• Safely load clean trailers with White Castle product that has been properly rotated
• Ship products with proper documentation and utilize WMS system efficiently
• Fill out bill of lading for orders shipped and trailer loading logs
• Inspect and receive deliveries, verifying incoming orders against expectations
• Keep the freezer and warehouse clean and organized, including the dock area
• Conduct daily inspections of incoming trailers and forklifts
• Ensure unsafe and unapproved items do not enter or leave the bakery during shipping and receiving
• Fill in for the Warehouse Coordinator in their absence and conduct daily inventory counts
• Utilize the WFM system to add pallets, create bills of lading, and scan/load buns systematically
• File all paperwork, including bun inventory and ingredient inventory
• Assist with salting back lots in winter months
• Comply with incident reporting policies and procedures
• Adhere to Plant’s security and safety policies and procedures
• Communicate effectively with customers and all levels of the organization in a professional manner

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED
• Prior experience driving a forklift
• Proficient computer experience with Microsoft Word, Outlook & Excel
• Ability to become licensed for the operation of a forklift and motorized hand jack
• Aptitude to complete the 10-hour OSHA training

Qualifications

• Prior warehouse and inventory experience preferred
