About This Role

Join Green Summit Animal Clinic, where you'll provide comprehensive, high-quality healthcare to pets and support their families. This role involves assisting veterinarians with various medical tasks and ensuring animal comfort.

Responsibilities

Perform pet restraint and triage for incoming patients
Collect and analyze lab samples, conduct diagnostic imaging
Manage and provide nursing care for medical and hospitalized cases with varying stability
Administer medications as directed
Communicate treatment plans effectively with clients
Assist with surgical preparation and procedures
Manage and monitor anesthesia for patients

Requirements

Minimum 1 year experience as a Veterinary Assistant preferred
Compassionate, calm, team player, multi-tasker, and strong communicator
Ability to properly restrain pets

Qualifications

Minimum 1 year of experience as a Veterinary Assistant preferred

Nice to Have

Proficiency in sample collection, obtaining medical histories, processing laboratory tests and radiographs, and anesthesia monitoring
Self-starter with desire to advance knowledge and skillset
