Lead strategic consulting engagements for Accenture's Utilities practice, focusing on digital transformation, customer experience modernization, and operational efficiency initiatives. Serve as a trusted advisor to senior client stakeholders and drive the implementation of customer-centric operating models.
Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end strategic consulting engagements across Energy Retail and Customer Service
- Serve as a primary point of contact for senior client stakeholders, establishing trusted advisor relationships
- Define, develop, and execute transformation roadmaps that improve customer outcomes, enhance revenue growth, and optimize cost structures
- Own delivery excellence across multiple workstreams by managing project teams, setting clear direction, and managing risks and dependencies
- Support business development efforts by identifying opportunities, shaping client conversations, and developing proposals
- Contribute to and shape thought leadership by staying current on industry trends, regulatory changes, and emerging technologies
- Design and re-engineer business processes
- Lead design thinking and executive workshops
- Develop business cases and transformation roadmaps
- Deliver agile and hybrid delivery programs
- Define new operating models and customer engagement strategies
- Lead change management, talent enablement, and adoption
- Co-create reusable intellectual property and industry-leading solutions
Requirements
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in the Utilities industry with focus on Customer Service, Energy Retail, and Customer Transformation project delivery
- Minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience with enterprise platforms such as SAP or Oracle
- Deep expertise in Meter-to-Cash operations, customer operations, billing, collections, and associated technologies
- Proven leadership in large-scale Customer Transformation initiatives and technology implementations
- Demonstrated experience managing consulting engagements
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in the Utilities industry, with a strong focus on Customer Service, Energy Retail, and Customer Transformation project delivery. Minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience with enterprise platforms such as SAP or Oracle, including leading or managing system-enabled business transformations.
Nice to Have
- 3+ years of experience in an advisory or consulting role, delivering business transformation
- Led multi-workstream programs involving customer operations, digital channels, and enterprise platforms (e.g., SAP, Oracle)
