About This Role

The Unit Secretary provides administrative support for scheduling, admitting, medical records, and discharge planning. This role also performs limited patient-related activities for neonate/infant and pediatric populations within a multi-skilled environment.

Responsibilities

  • Provide administrative support for scheduling functions for the department
  • Provide administrative support for admitting functions for the department
  • Provide administrative support for medical records functions for the department
  • Provide administrative support for discharge planning functions for the department
  • Provide administrative support for secretarial functions for the department
  • Perform limited patient-related activities for Neonate/Infant populations
  • Perform limited patient-related activities for Pediatric populations

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED

Nice to Have

  • BCLS certification
