The Unit Clerk is responsible for transcribing and posting physician's orders, maintaining medication administration records, and assisting with supply levels for the Nursing Unit. This role facilitates communication among staff, patients, and families, while ensuring an organized work environment.
Responsibilities
- Transcribe and post Physician's orders
- Maintain Medication Administration Records
- Assist in maintaining PAR levels of supplies for the Nursing Unit
- Maintain an organized work environment
- Facilitate communication between staff, patients, families and/or visitors
- Review status board and facilitate order notification
- Answer call lights and phones in an efficient and professional manner
- Communicate safety risks to other providers
Qualifications
- High School Diploma
- 1 Year - Preferred
Nice to Have
- 1 year experience
Certifications
Basic Life Support (BLS) - Required
