About This Role

This Undergrad Software Engineer Intern will apply software development knowledge to manage tasks associated with developing, debugging, or designing enterprise-class software applications within Oracle Health & Analytics, contributing to next-generation health platforms. They will work within an agile, iterative process to support, debug, and provide solutions, and analyze root causes of issues.

Responsibilities

  • Manage software development tasks associated with developing, debugging or designing enterprise class software application
  • Support, debug, and provide solutions within an agile, iterative process
  • Engage in programs and initiatives to analyze the root cause of issues
  • Recommend and evolve suitable solution approaches to address challenges in a time-sensitive fashion

Requirements

  • Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related science/engineering field during the 2025-2026 school year AND returning to the program after completion of the internship
  • Proficient in Java
  • Proficient in at least one of C/C++, JavaScript, Python, or SQL
  • Ability to implement sophisticated algorithms and data structures in very complex systems with the highest quality
  • Demonstrated experience (projects, internships, coursework, research) with three or more of: Databases, Computer Systems, Computer Operations, Linux / UNIX, Object Oriented Design, Operating Systems, User Interface Design
  • Completed at least sophomore year toward undergraduate degree, or higher, by summer 2026
  • Completed at least one internship, research assistantship, teaching assistantship, or equivalent practical experience working with relevant areas
  • Reside in the United States and/or attend a university in the US

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related science/engineering field
  • At least sophomore year completed by summer 2026, and at least one internship, research assistantship, teaching assistantship, or equivalent practical experience

Nice to Have

  • Minimum 3.0 GPA
