About This Role

Oracle is seeking elite, early-in-career software engineers to design and build innovative new systems from the ground up within its Applications Development organization. This role involves writing, testing, and debugging Oracle software for next-generation enterprise-class cloud applications leveraging AI, Machine Learning, and other cutting-edge technologies.

Responsibilities

  • Design and build innovative new systems from the ground up
  • Write code for programming projects
  • Perform testing and debugging of Oracle software
  • Work on cutting-edge technologies to solve real-world problems in a collaborative, agile environment

Requirements

  • Graduated with a Bachelor’s in Computer Science (or equivalent) within 12 months of start date (no later than August 2026)
  • Proficient in Java
  • Proficient in one or more of: Python, JavaScript, CSS, HTML, SQL, Scala
  • Demonstrated experience with Android and/or iOS mobile application development, Unix and/or Linux Operating Systems, or Big Data tools/frameworks (e.g. Spark, Hive, Hadoop, MapReduce, Kafka)
  • Completed coursework, projects, internships, and/or research in 3 or more of: Algorithms and Data Structures, Artificial Intelligence, Big Data, Database, Machine Learning, Object-Oriented Programming, Operating Systems, Software Programming, Web Development, Micro-Services Architecture, Container Architectures (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes), User Interface Design
  • Experience with XML, JSON, node.js, JavaScript, REST APIs
  • Reside in the United States and/or attend a university in the US
  • Able to obtain work authorization in the US in 2026

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s in Computer Science (or an equivalent science/engineering field)
  • At least one internship, research assistantship, teaching assistantship, or equivalent practical experience in relevant technical areas

  • Minimum 3.0 GPA
