About This Role

Join Securitas as an Unarmed or Armed Security Officer responsible for observing and reporting activities, providing security and safety for client property and personnel.

Responsibilities

• Observe and report activities and incidents at assigned client sites
• Provide for the security and safety of client property and personnel
• Perform frequent sitting, standing, and walking, potentially for long periods
• Climb stairs and walk up inclines and on uneven terrain as required
• Occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds

Requirements

• Must be 18 years of age
• Ability to pass a lifetime background check
• Ability to pass a drug test
• 1 year of security experience
• High School Diploma or GED
• Excellent communication skills
• Professional appearance (no visible body piercing accessories or visible tattoos unless authorized)
• Excellent customer service skills
• Ability to meet state, county, and municipal licensing requirements for Security Officers/Guards

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED
• 1 year of security experience
