Perform a variety of Ultrasound imaging procedures, applying high-frequency sound waves to provide static, real-time, and Doppler images of internal human anatomy to aid in the diagnosis and treatment of diseases and pathology.
Responsibilities
- Perform a variety of Ultrasound imaging procedures
- Apply high-frequency sound waves to provide static, real-time, and Doppler images of internal human anatomy
- Aid in the diagnosis and treatment of diseases and pathology
- Ensure compliance with regulatory standards
- Carry out policies and procedures in accordance with all regulatory bodies
- Operate equipment safely and maintain standards while performing all types of procedures within the scope of the A.R. D.M.S.
- Establish and maintain a good rapport and professional relationship with fellow employees, other departments and medical staff
Requirements
- Basic Cardiac Life Support (must be obtained within 30 days of employment)
- Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS)
