About This Role

Coordinate and deliver high-quality, patient-centered care as a Registered Nurse in the Operating Room. Collaborate with medical providers and the care team to provide individualized and compassionate care, advocating for patients and their families.

Responsibilities

  • Assess patient pain regularly to promote effective pain management, including reassessments after appropriate intervention
  • Perform procedures, monitoring, or other functions as ordered by the medical provider(s)
  • Document the administration of care in the patient medical record in a timely and thorough manner
  • Perform exceptional care by responding promptly to patient requests, anticipating patient needs and resolving them proactively
  • Teach patients/families/caregivers about patient medical condition, status, treatment plan, medications, side effects, and follow-up measures
  • Prepare patients and families/caregivers for future self-management through non-medicinal follow-up measures, such as healthy diet and exercise

Requirements

  • Registered Nurse (RN)
  • 2-3 years OR experience

Qualifications

  • 2-3 years OR experience required
