Truck Driver CDL A Regional

About This Role

Drive a Class A CDL truck regionally for Ryder Supply Chain Solutions, transporting retail goods across IA, IL, OH, KY, and IN. This role offers weekly pay, excellent benefits, and a consistent Monday-Friday schedule, with weekends during peak season.

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with applicable federal and/or state laws, regulations, and/or agency rules, standards and guidelines
• Detect and eliminate or minimize safety hazards
• Maintain accurate records and logs
• Load/unload freight or assist in the loading/unloading of freight if required by customer
• Operate Super Sleeper tractors and Dry Van 53’ trailers with pallet jack and lift gate equipment

Requirements

• Minimum 21 years of age
• Pass a Ryder Drug Test
• Pass a Ryder Background and Motor vehicle check including Drug and alcohol verification from previous employers for the last 3 years
• Pass a DOT physical
• Pass a Ryder road test
• Provide appropriate CDL and endorsements for the position
• Ability to follow written and/or oral instructions
• Ability to read, interpret and apply laws, rules, regulations policies and/or procedures

Qualifications

• Minimum 9 months within the past 3 years, OR 2 years within the last 5 years, OR 5 years within the last 10 years of verifiable experience in a tractor trailer or comparable vehicle.
