Treatment Plant Quote Specialist

About This Role

The Treatment Plant Quote Specialist supports and quotes projects for customers, providing technical information and product knowledge. This role ensures timely distribution of quotes and offers a high level of customer service for the Critical Infrastructure Group.

Responsibilities

• Manage and source pricing for items across Core & Main’s scope of work on contractor projects, meeting internal and external deadlines.
• Prepare formal quotations and submittals under the direction of estimators and sales team.
• Revise quotes and update pricing per addendums.
• Manage incoming RFQs, working with the sales team and the customer to ensure accuracy and customer satisfaction.
• Assist the estimating team with maintaining the bid calendar and ensuring quotes are delivered in a timely fashion.
• Act as focal point for questions concerning specifics of quotes and proposals.
• Prepare monthly reports tracking quotation activity.
• Identify opportunities for improving the quotation process and report them to management.
• Establish and strengthen relationships with customers and the manufacturing community.

Qualifications

• BS/BA in a related discipline
• 2+ years of experience in the waterworks industry, preferably preparing and pricing quotes for contractors on large heavy/civil and/or treatment plant projects.
